Both Dante Bowe and Maverick City Music issued statements recently that state that Maverick City will be distancing themselves from the popular Gospel singer and that Bowe will be taking some time off to focus on his mental health and emotional state. Support poured in from the fans for Dante Bowe, and despite some criticism toward Maverick City Music for their decision, it seems the people are understanding.
The statements were worded in a way that leads the public to believe this may be a temporary split as they navigate public opinion. Grammy award-winning Dante Bowe is scheduled to embark on a personal tour with Evvie Mckinney and Social Club Misfits. While upcoming performances with Maverick City Music will be effected, there has been no word on whether or not Bowe’s Joyful tour will be halted.
