The internet was set ablaze, yesterday morning, when Bishop T.D. Jakes suffered what his family is calling a “slight health incident” during Potters House Dallas Sunday service. Reports say that the incident took place after Jakes delivered his sermon, and was nearing the end of a prayer.
In the video, the bishop’s speech becomes noticeably slower in pace, and after uttering the words, “let them go in peace” he stands in silence, looking as if something is wrong.
Later, in a social media post, Jakes’ daughter Sarah Jakes Roberts and her husband Toure Roberts addressed the public, seemingly grateful to God that the situation wasn’t worse. They shared that their father is doing well and recovering well. Toure even joked that they’re having a hard time getting him to sit down.
Believers across the US and beyond are staying prayerful for the full recovery of Bishop Jakes.
