We’ve watched Krista grow up on Mary Mary’s reality show, and we’ve heard her voice develop over the years. Now, the Spelman student is coming into her own, and just killed it at their 97th Annual Christmas Carol Concert.
Most of us fell in love with Krista, when she was a tiny little thing running around on Mary Mary, her mother’s singing group’s reality TV show.
Over the years, we’ve watched Krista grow up and venture into singing, similarly to the way Kierra “Kiki” Sheard got her start with her mother Karen Clark-Sheard. Krista’s voice has developed tremendously, and now, she’s holding her own.
The young artist-in-the-making is a student at Spelman College. She’s also a member of the Glee Club, and this past weekend, she and her mom Erica Campbell sang a duet and wowed the crowd.
We’re gonna keep an eye out for this budding star, and let you know how she’s progressing along the way.
In this clip, a much younger Krista sings with mom on an episode of the Mary Mary show in Season 3.
Even then, her voice showed great promised. Now, it’s only a matter of time before she’s ready to use her voice to release her own projects.
